Villa Fontana is set in a beautiful italian garden  dominated by  three fountains, surrounded by boxwood trees and hedges, roses , olive trees and  paths with lavender. pergolas and  a large 18x8 m swimming pool. Villa Fontana also has a private lake which dominates the north part of the estate which guests can enjoy  while walking in the estate. The estate also has several themed gardens including an Art Garden and a Wedding Garden with a beautiful gazebo perfect for couples exchanging vows. There is also a range of produce grown on site including organic vegetables used by the villa chef, rows of olive trees used to produce extra-virgin olive oil, a kiwi pergola with fruits harvested for jam and candied fruits, and a lemon grove where the fruit is turned into delicious juices, dried fruits and – naturally – limoncello.

Indoors, the beautifully-restored property perfectly blends traditional features like Tessieri tiles, Murano chandeliers, and antique furniture with modern facilities, including a lift linking all floors. Guests can unwind in the lounges located on each of the three main floors, catch up on a holiday read in the cosy library, host elegant dinner parties in the formal dining room, and prepare delicious feasts in the beautiful country-style kitchen.

The Villa Fontana estate is made up of three buildings -

Villa Fontana is situated in a  quiet village  in Tuscany,  just  10 minutes from the historic centre of Lucca. Built in the 18th-century and fully renovated recently. A beautifully restored villa with four floors, elevator, 6 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a private spa with indoor pool.

Dependance - In addition to the Villa, guests can add our dependance,  a separate building sleeping up to six additional guests. It features three double bedrooms, a living room and a kitchenette. The dependence is comfortable and well-appointed but is not of the same style/standard as the main villa so is best suited for teens or those travelling with staff. While in the winter period it would be advisable to use it for staff travelling with guests.

Forno - (banqueting hall) airconditioned for up 20 people with kitchen, pizza oven  and  grill on fireplace.

MAIN VILLA 

BASEMENT

The basement is home to a spa area offering complete indulgence. There is a heated swimming pool with hydromassage jets, a sauna, a hammam, a spa treatment room, and a relaxation lounge. The basement also features a well-stocked wine cellar.

NOBILE FLOOR

The noble floor  has a  living room , library, formal dining room,  two guests bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. 

FIRST FLOOR

There are six comfortable guest bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms split over two floors. All of the bedrooms have king or queen-size beds, which can be converted to twins on request, allowing for flexible sleeping arrangements for different group compositions.

• Blue Room – queen-size bed (converted to 2 twins on request) and en-suite bathroom with shower

DEPENDANCE

The Dependance was once a farmhouse, highlighting the estate’s rural vocation down the centuries. It can be used as a dependance for staff, being discreetly independent from the rest of the Villa. This separate building – plus its heritage-protected barn – offer superior accommodation for up to six people. On request, the Dependance can also be used by guests in order to reach 18 pax accomodation in total.

The dependance has a serene and authentic beauty with a contemporary touch. The house has a cosy living room with a wood-burning stove sporting an attractive hand-painted mural.  A classically stylish kitchen offers a full range of cooking facilities. Each suite has its own character and features a comfortable and stylish bathroom, thoughtfully finished with terracotta floors and retro style sanitary ware.

Resplendent in earthy pink tones on its exterior, the farmhouse has been tastefully redecorated from top to bottom. Yet this building retains much of its old authenticity and charm, thanks to the re-purposing of original materials (windows and antique terracotta floors) or retro-style restoration of various old furniture by local artisans.

The dependance is set out on two floors:

• Ground floor: dining room and living room
• First floor: 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and 1 bedroom with private bathroom

FORNO - BANQUETING HALL

The Forno is airconditioned and can seat up to 20 people with kitchen, pizza oven  and  grill on fireplace.

The villa can be rented either with the use of 6 bedrooms (up to 12 pax) or adding the dependance with the use of 3 bedrooms (up to 6 extra guests)

NOTE - The dining room of the villa can accommodate up to a maximum of 12 guests  but  the Forno, the third building  of the property, which is the banqueting hall,  (equipped with kitchen, pizza oven, barbecue)  has a large table for up to 20 people and in case of bad weather can be used as a dining room.
