The ground floor is made up of an entrance hall and dining room, living room with fireplace and flat screen TV and comfortable sofas and library. Large French doors give stunning views of the pool and countryside beyond. A small but fully equipped kitchen connects to the outside patio.  
There is a small bedroom with a double sofa bed suitable for old people or for those who cannot climb the stairs to reach the 1st floor. This room has an en suite bathroom with tub and shower.
Quality furnishings have been mixed with modern amenities such as flat screen, Sat TV and WI FI internet.

FIRST FLOOR

There are two double bedrooms, one of which can be converted to a twin. Near the master bedroom there is a bathroom with shower and Turkish bath.  Both rooms have doors which lead directly to the back of the house. A corridor leads to a terrace, which is perfect for sunbathing or relaxing with a drink.

SECOND FLOOR

From the 1st floor, a small staircase leads to the most romantic room in the house, a double room with en suite bathroom with shower, which has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside 

OUTDOORS

The house is surrounded by the estate olive groves, which have beautiful views over the surrounding Tuscan countryside. There is an octagonal swimming pool, which sits in front of the house. There are sunbeds and chairs around the pool. There is also a garden and covered gazebo where guests can enjoy “al fresco” dinners in a relaxing spot.

SURROUNDING AREA

A path leads directly from the villa through olive groves and woodland to the nearby village of Castelvecchio di Compito (10 min walk). Over the hills you can reach Buti (7km walk), a hill village with shops and restaurants. Bientina, is a small town at a few minutes drive, which has all amenities including a supermarket, shops, restaurants, banks, weekly market, antiques market (monthly) and in July the town holds a palio (bareback horse race) in the main square. The villa is ideally situated for sightseeing. Lucca is only 20 minutes away and the nearest motorway exit in Altopascio is a 10 minute drive.  Pisa and Florence are 30 and 45 minutes or you can catch the train from Pontedera the nearest train station (15 mins).
