This fabulous country estate has a gem of a village as its central point, which retains its original character and charm. Wandering over the little stone bridge and up the lane into the heart of this picturesque village makes you feel that time has stopped. A large aristocratic villa dominates the skyline as you look back. It is a beautiful and imposing building, which sits just above the pretty village. It is steeped in history and once belonged to the Duke of Aosta and his family and originally dates back as far as 1039. The village has a tiny piazza and a lovely church at its heart and the village houses span out from there. Today, it belongs to part of the “Salvatore Ferragamo” fashion family, who have painstakingly restored the Tuscan Estate and Spa, which covers an extensive 700 hectares.

The village now offers luxury suites of diffrent sizes, all located in a romantic setting. All accommodation has the use of a pool and sun terrace located  at a short distance from the heart of the village and the use of facilities on the estate including mountain bikes, soccer field, fishing, driving range, horse riding, a village restaurant.

There is also a purpose build spa where guests can relax and pamper themselves. It includes a wellness suite, Turkish bath, Jacuzzi, lounge area, dining area, fitness room and an outdoor lap pool in summer. Various treatments are also available including therapeutic massages. The spa area is set in a pretty courtyard setting and also has a spa café and spacious reception rooms to relax in and enjoy.

There is a local village at just a few minutes drive (2km) with a bank, post office, 2 small supermarkets, a pizzeria and an ice cream bar that also offers light lunches and local shops. Its central location makes it very accessible to all the main cities and towns such as Arezzo – 20 mins, Florence 50 mins or 30 mins by fast train from the local station and Siena is approx. 1 hr.

For larger groups the estate also offers 2 luxury villas including Villa Padronale the main aristocratic villa with its beautiful Italian garden and fountain  as well as another luxury villa with private pool, Villa Cassia within easy reach of the village.

The estate also has tastefully restored farmhouse apartments and 2 restored mill houses located on the estate;
Mulino 1 and Mulino 2.

The village suites have the use of a pool, sun terrace and bar located at a short distance from all the accommodation. A few of the suites have a small garden area or terrace. The village has a unique atmosphere and is a stone’s throw from the village restaurant, which is just across the characterful stone bridge.

SPA & WELLNESS CENTRE

The spa, where guests can relax and pamper themselves is just a short walk away at the top of the village. The spa is purpose built and is very bright and airy with picture windows. It includes a wellness suite,  Turkish bath, jacuzzi, lounge area,  fitness room and an outdoor lap pool in summer. Various treatments are also available including therapeutic massages. There are pretty views over the village.
There are many other facilities in and around the estate such as horse riding, archery, football pitch to mention just a few. Reception is also open daily to help and assist if required.

RESTAURANT

Savour the fine estate wines and excellent food at the village restaurant, just a stone's throw from the village. There is a Bistrot as well as a gourmet restaurant so you can enjoy the chef's specialities and a beautiful roof top terrace for dining "al fresco".

BOUTIQUE & ARTISAN SHOPS

There are a variety of artisan shops selling both local specialty cheese and handmade items around the village and a Boutique at the spa.
