Villa Sofia is a pretty 2 storey, stone villa, nestled in the hills amongst olive trees within easy reach of Cortona. It's charming countryside location is perfect for guests looking for a relaxing holiday and tehre are wonderful views over the Val di Chiana. The large grounds are planted with olive, cherry and fig trees along with flower covered pergolas, making it a true oasis.
It is within easy reach of Cortona (1.5km) - a wonderful hill top town with festivals throughout the summer. It is close to Lake Trasimeno (15km) with its tiny islands and the wine towns of Montepulciano (34km) and Montalcino (70km), where you can taste some excellent Tuscan wines. The renaissance cities of Siena and Florence are an easy day trip too. It is in a great central location for exploring both central and southern Tuscany, which has lots to offer together with some of the best scenery. The villa is set amogst olive groves and vineyards and has panoramic views. Cortona is within walking distance at just 1.5km.

Villa Sofia is a pretty stone villa set in a large, well maintained garden with wonderful views. The villa has 2 floors and it can accommodate up to 14 guests in 7 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms.
GROUND FLOOR
On the ground floor there is a large kitchen, a dining area that features an original open fireplace and a living room. There is a large
master bedroom with en suite bathroom and another double bedroom with a private
bathroom located in the hall.
All bedrooms are individually decorated and all offer a stunning
view over the valley.
Outdoors a large, shady pergola is available for outdoor dining, where you can enjoy the beautiful view over the valley.

FIRST FLOOR
An open plan staircase connects to the first floor, where there are 3 master bedrooms and 1 small twin bedroom, all with en suite bathrooms. Three bathrooms have showers and one bathroom has a roll top bathtub.

COTTAGE
The 7th bedroom is located in a separate annexe, which is a comfortable spacious suite with direct access to the garden. The bedroom features a stunning old wrought iron bed, a single bed and a large bathroom with shower. Looking out from the French doors there is a wonderful view over the valley.
OUTDOORS
The villa is set in a well maintained garden with panoramic views across the valley. There is a traditional wood oven and BBQ for evenings relaxing over dinner enjoying the pretty views. The private pool ( x mts) with jacuzzi corner is located at a short distance form the villa set amongst olive trees and with lovely views over the valley below.
