Villa Palicaia dates back to the 16th century when it was a family home. After a lengthy restoration over several years the villa is now a wonderful holiday home for the more discerning traveller. It is a spacious villa for a large family group or group of friends and enjoys wonderful views over the countryside. The villa features a heated pool and spa area with sauna, gym and relaxation area. There is an adjacent restored barn in addition to main villa.
Villa Palicaia is located just south of Florence. Florence and its wealth of Renaissance Art is just 31km and a short drive or there are fast trains from the local station. Locally there is a well known Designer outlet at 3km with names such as Armani, Gucci, Dolce e Gabbana, Etro, Fendi, Hogan and more. The villa is centrally located and great for exploring central Chianti just across the valley with its rolling countryside, hilltop villages, castles and multitude of wineries or head for Siena 92km, Arezzo 52km or explore the hot thermal spa towns south of Siena.

Not Included: Final cleaning - €350, heating - €1.20 per litre of gas, electricity over 250KW per week - €0.70 per KW, pool heating - €500 - €1,000 per week, weddings/events - €1,000

Local Tourist Tax: €1,50 per day per person over 12 yrs, payable in cash on arrival

Security Deposit: €800 payable in cash on arrival and refunded on departure

The property is made up of a main villa and adjacent barn. The property has been restored with great attention to detail and has retained much of the original charm, while using high quality furnishings and fittings throughout. Colours throughout are neutral so interiors are light and airy.

The pool area enjoys fabulous views and sunsets. Poolside there is an indoor area with a sauna and a gym with a treadmill, exercise bike and a bathroom with shower.
