Villa Iris is located in the Tuscan hills, 10 minutes from Lucca, this beautifully restored 18th century farmhouse is set in 40 acres of olive trees and vineyards. The farmhouse is located on a hill, off a country road through a private gate. Views in all directions are of rolling, wooded hills and on a clear day you can see the Leaning Tower in Pisa.The house has recently been restored and the interior was designed and crafted by the finest craftsmen and in keeping with both Tuscan traditions and the highest standards of comfort. It has six large, modern bathrooms, five large bedrooms and four fireplaces.
Based here you can enjoy the daily town life in the walled city of Lucca, the beach resort of Forte dei Marmi (30 minutes) or spend a day in Florence (45 minutes) or just relax and enjoy the pretty veiws from the garden and poolside.

Not included: Electricity over 503 kw per week - €0.34 per unit, heating over 82 cubic mts per week - €4.26 per unit, grocery shopping - €15 per hr, cooked breakfast items/ hot breakfast - €15 per hr, cook service for lunch, dinner or pizza evening - €35 per hr (cook + assistant) + cost of food, extra maid service and / or laundry service (washing/ironing) - €15 per hr, pool heating in Autumn - from €150/€200 per day depending on weather (takes 2 days to heat), shopping and cook service require advance booking of min 1 day before, grocery shopping - €15 per hr + cost of food, non local phone calls

Food/Services Deposit: €2,000 in cash on arrival to cover food costs and extra services for 1 week. Receipts will be provided at the end of the week.

VILLA DESCRIPTION

Villa Iris is filled with light and inviting open spaces. The ground floor opens onto an outdoor terrace from four pairs of large wooden doors (the original stable doors). There is outdoor dining under the pergola and a covered outdoor living area. There are walled gardens, a 60 foot long mosaic pool as well as a traditional outdoor pizza oven. The villa is equipped with cable television, a flat screen TV and surround sound in the living room. There are screens throughout the house. There are fans in all the bedrooms. 4 bedrooms have air conditioning and the bedroom on the ground floor has a fan.
