Villa Elena is a pretty stone villa and cottage, situated in the countryside close to Cortona. It has a garden and a private pool. The views from the garden are wonderful and it is a short drive into Cortona, which is a lovely hill town with pretty views and a wide variety of bars and restaurants. Being in southern Tuscany it is also perfect for visiting Umbria, Lake Trasimeno (the only Lake in Tuscany) with its tiny islands and towns along the lake and there are many renowned wine towns such as Montepulciano and Montalcino all within easy reach, not to mention the spa towns including Chianciano Terme 53km. The renaissance city of Florence is also easily accessible by train.
