Villa Abate is located in Sambuca Val di Pesa, a small village between Siena and Florence along the Pesa River, close to the Antinori Winery, which was ranked as the ‘Most Beautiful Winery in the World’. The villa has undergone a meticulous restoration with great attention to detail.  It combines traditional Tuscan charm with tasteful, elegant interiors and furnishings.
Villa Abate is made up of a main villa and two beautiful adjacent, restored barns. The unique riverside location is spell binding. Trees line the riverbank and together with the sound of the water, provide a wonderful connection to nature. The property is surrounded by large well maintained gardens, making it a truly unique place to spend your holiday. 
Villa Abate is the perfect, relaxing place for a group of families or friends to explore Tuscany. It is only a short drive (7km) to the local town of Tavarnelle. Florence airport is 43km and Pisa airport is only 88km. It's central location makes it perfect to explore all the main towns and cities that Tuscany has to offer.

OUTDOORS

The private garden is planted with lush vegetation. There is the scent of cypresses, the sound of the river nearby, and the Tuscan hills serve as a background, creating a magical and relaxing atmosphere. The villa has a private pool (15x7mts) set in the lush grounds. The patio areas are located to the rear of the villa where evidence of its former usage is still visible. You can still see the channels today, where once upon a time water flowed to the blades of the mill in order to grind wheat. There is a round table around an ancient olive tree and wood oven to enjoy homemade pizzas fresh out of the oven.
A riverside area is a true oasis where you can reconcile with nature and let yourself be lulled by the sound of flowing water and the rustle of leaves that surround it. It can be accessed directly from the villa and features a relaxation area, dining table, and sun loungers.
