This historic castle and adjoining church dating back to the 11th century, has been meticulously renovated and converted into a luxury villa with stunning infinity pool and it is a perfect location for family holidays, as well as unforgettable events and weddings in the unique historic chapel.The main villa has 6 king size bedrooms with private, marble bathrooms for up to 12 guests and 4 additional bedrooms in the dependance for a total of up to 20 guests
Castell Ugo is a perfect location for exploring the rest of Umbria including Perugia 19km, Umbertide 15km, but also Lake Trasimeno (15 km), with its tiny islands is a wonderful day trip. Tuscany is just a short drive away, so you can easily drive over to Tuscany and explore its many wine producing areas and pretty towns and cities.

Castell Ugo is a superb luxury villa set in stunning scenery. The property combines modern comfort and elegance with unique historic details, all set in landscaped gardens with an infinity pool overlooking breathtaking countryside. Added to all of this, the attentive and discreet service of the  staff makes a stay here a truly wonderful and memorable experience.
Space reigns supreme in this villa, from the extensive surrounding garden and grounds, to the large kitchen and the 6 well-appointed bedrooms with their sumptuous en-suite marble bathrooms. Vaulted ceilings, reclaimed terracotta tiles floors, 13th century frescos, travertine marble stairs create a unique home that is luxurious without being ostentatious, mixing modern comforts with traditional materials.
The church is adjacent and connected to the main villa and features hand-painted decoration and is a unique setting to celebrate romantic and memorable moments or to simply indulge enjoying beauty and silence.

The villa is set in a fenced, landscaped grounds. It sits on a little hill so has amazing views over the surrounding countryside. A unique setting for a truly unique property.  It has a beautiful infinity pool (14 x 4mts – can be heated on request) in the garden close to the villa with panoramic views. There are various balconies, terraces and garden areas for relaxing and dining.
