Casa Donatella is a gorgeous gem of an apartment in the very heart of Lucca, located close to the famous Guinigi tower. This bright apartment is located a few steps from the wonderful Cathedral of San Martino and just behind the corner of the Guinigi Tower.  Recently refurbished, this is a very comfortable base to explore Lucca and the surrounding area.
The apartment is on the second floor of a historic Palazzo and was once the residence of one of the most important families in the silk trade in Europe in 1400s. There is a grand entrance from the street into a frescoed hallway. The apartment is on the second floor and has elevator.  The location is superb, being very central but in a very quiet block.  Close by there a couple of very good pizzerias, grocery, baker’s, pastry shop and cafe for breakfast in the morning. Everything is just a few steps away as well as the weekly market and access to the promenade along the top of the city walls. Elegant, modern and very bright, Casa Donatella offers very comfortable accommodation, with all the modern comforts you might need as well as beautiful new furniture.

Lucca is a bustling city with many festivals over the summer period. It has a myriad of lanes, piazzas, great shopping and a large variety of bars and restaurants to choose from. You can even cycle around the city walls, giving you a bird's eye view over this pretty city.
Lucca is within easy reach of the Tuscan coast (33km) and the renaissance city of Florence (81km).
