Villa Pineta is a pretty restored villa surrounded by pine woods. The Villa has stunning views over the Chiana valley towards Cortona and Lake Trasimeno. Outside the villa, there is a wooden pergola, barbecue and wood-burning oven, perfect for dining and relaxing "al fresco". The house has been renovated using traditional local materials, however it is also equipped with all modern comforts such as WI FI internet and air conditioning in the bedrooms. Adjacent to the villa is another building, with a large fireplace, which is ideal for large group dinners. However, the jewel of this villa is the salt water swimming pool, which has been built off the living area and is practically a continuation of the house itself. The pool has a remote controlled removable glass roof, which means it can be used in all weathers. This unique swimming pool also has a hydromassage area and night time illumination.
Villa Pineta is a perfect base, for exploring the Cortona area. There is a bar and restaurant at just a few mins from the villa (1km) It is also within easy reach of Cortona (5kms) and Lake Trasimeno.

GROUND FLOOR

Entrance, dining area with table seating 8 people. From here you have access to the pool, fully equipped kitchenette with dishwasher, gas hob, electric stove, French doors lead outdoors where the gazebo is situated, living area with sofas and fireplace, 1 double bedroom and bathroom with shower.

FIRST FLOOR

A staircase leads to the first floor, which features another living area on a mezzanine floor overlooking the ground floor. The sleeping area consists of 3 double bedrooms, 2 of which have an en suite bathrooms. There is also an additional bathroom with shower. One bedroom has access to a terrace, which overlooks the valley and Lake Trasimeno. One bedroom has a mezzanine floor with an extra single bed ideal for a child.

OUTDOORS

Outside the villa, there is a wooden pergola, barbecue and wood-burning oven, perfect for dining and relaxing "al fresco". The jewel though of this villa is the salt water swimming pool, which has been built right up to the steps of the villa which lead to the living area and is practically a continuation of the villa itself. There is a removable glass roof over the pool, which in summer can easily be moved aside or the pool can be covered if it rains. The pool also has a hydro-massage area and in the evening lights can be turned on, creating a colourful and relaxing ambience for guests.

Adjacent to the villa is another building which has been turned into a “get together” area which consists of a large table and benches, maintaining a rustic feel. It has its own kitchenette and a very big fireplace which dominates the room, which is ideal for family reunions or groups of friends.
