Villa Montebello is a fabulous, restored country farmhouse on a private wine estate. It has been restored with great taste and attention to detail. Located right in the heart of the stunning landscapes of Chianti, just outside the local village of Panzano, the farmhouse has lovely views across rolling countryside dotted with country farmhouses. The house is set in a private garden that extends into vineyards around the property. The house is a perfect property for a family group looking for a beautiful setting. The house is a perfect base, for exploring Chianti and visiting Florence (50 mins) or Siena(40 mins) which are all within easy reach. Villa Montebello is in a country location and yet close to the local town of Greve in Chianti, which has a variety of local shops in the centre of town. Some local supplies can also be bought in the small local village of Panzano home of nationally famous butcher. (Cecchini), who is known to recite poetry in his shop!

 First floor A small set of stairs leads up to a double bedroom and a twin bedroom that share a bathroom with a roll top bath. The master bedroom is very spacious. This bedroom has a dressing room and large en suite bathroom with spacious shower and marble sink. On this floor there is a further double bedroom with its own balcony and en suite bathroom with shower and marble sink. 
There are different patio areas around the farmhouse. There is a large covered patio off the living room and another off the kitchen. All have wonderful views over the beautiful Chianti countryside, famous for its wines. There is also a covered pergola at the poolside for eating “al fresco”. There is a large garden and the salt water pool is set at a distance from the house. It is a large asymmetric, infinity pool with steps in. Facilities:

This wonderful farmhouse located in the very heart of Chianti is extremely well-equipped and perfect or the more discerning traveller. This fabulous farmhouse is a perfect size for a family group wanting to enjoy the scenic countryside of Chianti.
Ground floor:
To the other side of the house there is another hallway leading up a few steps to a ground floor double bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower. This room opens onto a small patio.
Up another couple of steps there is a very spacious main lounge with TV, DVD, Video complete with a large range of films and a study desk with computer and internet connection. The lounge has large glass doors onto a large covered patio and the garden, where there are great views over the surrounding countryside. A laundry room is also located on the ground floor and this has a washer/dryer as well as equipment for ironing.
