Casellino

by Avi
(Chandigarh, India)

We found the establishment quite easily with directions. On arrival we were welcomed by the owners, Anna & Paulo, who showed us to our apartment. They had provided a 'Welcome Pack' in the apartment, which was much appreciated. We regret that we could not speak Italian and they do not speak any English, so our interaction was limited. The apartment was delightful, as was the whole establishment with lovely panoramic views of the Chianti region. We were surrounded by olive groves and a forest on steep hillsides with a well maintained swimming pool and loungers close to the apartments.

We were glad that we had taken insect repellent, as suggested in an earlier guest comment. There were insects around, especially in the evenings.

Unfortunately we only had four days there, but would love to go back and spend longer. It was everything we had hoped for.
