Villa Tartufo dates back to the 15th century. This historical villa has been restored and refurbished from top to bottom. Its hilltop position ensures superlative views of Florence and the Tuscan countryside and Florence city centre is just a 10 minutes drive away. Villa Tartufo is set in 5 acres of private land, dotted with olive trees and is a charming property just a stone's throw from Florence.
Villa Tartufo is a perfect base, for exploring the fabulous renaissance city centre, which is at just 10 mins. There is a local bus stop at 700 mts.

Villa Tartufo, which is perfect for a family group or group of friends, has been restored using traditional materials in keeping with this beautiful historic villa that is full of charm. Outdoors there is a romantic, terraced garden with ponds and fountains, lemon plants and persimmon trees, a strawberry grape vine and pretty flowers. Further down, there is also a garden with aromatic plants. There is also a pretty plunge pool where guests can cool off on hot days, while admiring the beautiful views over Florence. The villa interiors are cosy and yet elegant and it has 7 bedrooms to accommodate up to 13 guests. The interiors, fixtures and fittings are top quality and guarantee a high level of comfort.

Throughout the villa there is a cosy atmosphere with plenty of comfortable corners for reading, relaxing and entertaining, with its two large living rooms, a bright over sized dining room, frescoes and fireplaces. The spacious, fully equipped kitchen connects to the rear garden.

The tower has an independent apartment that connects to the rest of the villa, with its own little kitchenette. There is a top quality heating system with area thermostats, instant unlimited hot water for showers or baths, air-conditioning and broadband internet connection.

WELLNESS AREA

At the lower garden level, the old cellars have been converted to accommodate the wellness area with a luxurious 3x2 metre built-in whirlpool (salt water). Just the thing to relax and recuperate after a hard days sightseeing in the city centre, which is only 10 mins away.

The house is set in a large garden with panoramic views over Florence and the Duomo.There are pretty areas for dining and relaxing outdoors and a plunge pool where you can cool off in hot weather while admiring the beautiful views over Florence.
