Villa Rosa is a a lovely stone farmhouse on two floors, located in Chianti just outside the local village of Montegonzi (500mts) and has lovely views to the Pratomagno hills across the valley. The house is set in an exceptionally large garden that extends all around the house. The house is a perfect property for large family group looking for a beautiful setting and within reach of the wonderful renaissance city of Florence (50 mins away). The house is a perfect base, for exploring Chianti and visiting Florence (50 mins) and Arezzo(40 mins). Villa Rosa is in a country location and yet close to the local town of Montevarchi, which has a very large Hypermarket as well as lots of other shops in the centre of town.
Villa Rosa is a perfect property if you want a country location from which you can explore Chianti and is within easy reach of Florence.

Villa Rosa
This is a spacious house, which is perfect for a large family group. The farmhouse has been restored using traditional materials and there are terracotta floors, wooden floors and beamed ceilings throughout. It has been furnished using top quality fixtures and fittings.
On the ground floor there is an entrance both to the side of the house through a large arched door into the hall and also through a central courtyard between the main house and the adjacent apartment for four.

On the ground floor there is a large kitchen that is well equipped and has a large hob and oven, large fridge, microwave, dishwasher, bread maker, coffee machines. There is a door to the side terrace and garden off the kitchen. On the ground floor there is also a dining room with open fireplace and a door onto the central courtyard, which has a fireplace. There is a downstairs toilet and shower room. A studio with desk also opens on to the courtyard. Also opening onto the courtyard is a living room with a stereo. To the other side of the house on the ground floor there is a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.

First Floor:
The first floor has wooden floors. There is a first floor living room with satellite TV and open fireplace and large windows to the side of the house overlooking the courtyard and lovely views over the countryside. Off the living room there is a pretty single bedroom with antique bed. Also off the living room is a hall with storage cupboards. There is a twin bedroom with a bathroom with bathtub, a double room with bathroom with bathtub and a dressing room. Also on this floor is a spacious master double bedroom with its own en suite bathroom with hydromassage bath and a shower.

Stairs lead from the top hall to an attic floor where there is an additional double bedroom with its own toilet and wash basin and it has a small roof terrace. (more suited to older children).

There is an adjacent apartment across the courtyard (exclusive to house and not rented to anyone else), which sleeps four people that has 1 double bedroom with a bathroom with bath, one twin bedroom with a bathroom with shower, small kitchen with hob, oven, fridge, dining room with TV.

This spacious house is set in very large garden and grounds.There are pretty views from both the house and garden and especially the pool area. Views are across the countryside down into the valley below and to the Pratomagno hills opposite. The pool area sits to the front of the house and has a covered loggia equipped with a camping stove and fridge for cooking at the pool side.There is also a BBQ area and terrace outside the main kitchen to the side of the house.
