Villa Pontedera is a fabulous villa and has recently been renovated to provide holiday accommodation for the more discerning guest and can accommodate a group of between 8 - 10 guests. Set in a secular park of 100 hectares, this beautiful villa has been restored to create a comfortable home filled with Tuscan charm.

Ground Floor
On the ground floor of this pretty villa there is a very spacious living room with vaulted ceiling and a stone fireplace, a dining room, large fully equipped Tuscan kitchen. Also on the ground floor is a guest bathroom and a bathroom with shower which can also be used as a changing room for the swimming pool.
First Floor
On the first floor there are six double bedrooms. One double with en suite bathroom, one twin with en suite bathroom and a further 2 doubles and 2 twin rooms sharing a further 2 bathrooms.

Adjacent guest House:
The adjacent guest house that can be used for staff, nanny or extra guests has a living room with fireplace, small studio, one bathroom, one twin bedroom with open fireplace.
The swimming pool (16 x 8 mts) is set the private garden with garden furniture and table tennis table. There are outdoor areas for dining and relaxing as well as parking. Thee is also a tennis court in the grounds.
Planning your stay
Villa Pontedera is an ideal central base from which to discover the many delights of Tuscany. The medieval walled town of Lucca is a 30 minute drive away.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa (15 minutes away as is Pisa airport).It is stunningly set in an open lawned piazza which also houses the Cathedral, Baptistery and Campo Santo Cemetery. A 40 minute drive will take you to the little port and town of Lerici overlooked by a cliff top castle from where boats leave every hour to Portovenere and the World Heritage site of the Cinque Terre, five dramatically cliff clinging villages. Renaissance Florence is just an hour away, either by train or car.
Siena is an hour and a half away with possible stops on the
way to San Gimignano and Monteriggioni , as is Chianti where you can arrange a wine-tasting at one of the many vineyards. For those interested in art and sculpture there are the impressive marble quarries of Carrara as well as the sculpture town of Pietrasanta. Forte dei Marmi is a lively beach stop with some great shopping as you join the masses in the early evening stroll through the town.
There are many wonderful restaurants to try in the area and reception can assist in pointing you in the right direction and making reservations.
