Villa Pergola is a villa on two floors on the edge of a pretty local village and set in a very large garden amongst the olive trees. It has been restored in keeping with traditional Tuscan materials and has terracotta floors and oak beamed ceilings, and 5 bedrooms for up to 10 guests. The large garden includes a private swimming pool, and a pic nic area with views to die for. The area was used for filming “The English Patient” and the abbey that appears in the film is close by.
Villa Pergola is a perfect base, for exploring Pienza (10 mins) and it is also within easy reach of Siena (30 mins), Montalcino (30 mins) and Florence (1.15 hours).

Villa Pergola is a great house for a large family group wanting to experience the fabulous scenery that Tuscany has to offer, with picture postcard views to remember. This villa has been restored to create a comfortable home filled with Tuscan charm. It is on the edge of a small local village with a few local shops including a supermarket and a children’s play park. The village is made up of pretty stone houses and little alleyways and there are beautiful views all round. There is also a local restaurant within 10 mins walk.

Ground Floor
On the ground floor of the villa there is a very spacious dining room with beamed ceiling. There are two arched windows to the garden. To one side is a covered patio with a large table and chairs and mobile BBQ for dining ”al fresco” Off the dining room is a well equipped kitchen with a traditional wood oven, log burning stove, large fridge, microwave, gas hob and oven. Also on the ground floor are one double bedroom with en suite bathroom with bathtub and large showerhead over the bathtub. A twin bedroom and a spacious double four poster room with en suite bathroom with a large shower. All the rooms have access to the garden. All bedrooms have ceiling fans. There is also a laundry room for guests to use with a washing machine, sink and iron.

First Floor
The first floor is accessed by an outside staircase to the side of the villa. (traditional in Tuscan country homes). There is a spacious lounge with satellite TV, CD and video player and access to a patio with lovely views over the countryside. There are a further two bedrooms on the first floor one is a twin bedroom and has access to a bathroom off the lounge area and the other is a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom with bathtub and large shower head over the bathtub.

The garden has a beautiful natural feel to it and is set out as an olive grove and has beautiful views stretching for miles. It has a very large infinity pool (7 x 16 mts) and it is fenced off and has a child proof gate. There are outdoor areas for dining as well as parking.
