Villa Padrone was built towards the end of the 18th century by a Baron from Piemonte in search of his dream – to own olive groves to produce olive oil. His dream came true when he fell in love with the location and built Villa Padrone. He then set about planting his olive groves and eventually lived here year round. His son then planted and developed the vineyards producing good quality wine and later a dessert wine was added that was sold to the Vatican. In 1930 the villa was bought by the present owner’s family and has passed down several generations. This is a spacious villa, which is perfect for a large family group where you can also enjoy this wonderful estate as families through history have done. . Villa Padrone Ground Floor: On the ground floor there is a large entrance, a living room, and a second living room with card table and bar, a large dining room with fire place, a fully equipped kitchen that opens onto the outside dining area by the pool for dining “al fresco”. There is also a half bathroom on this floor.    First Floor : Large frescoed reception room, one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (that includes a hydro massage tub). One twin bedroom, one double bedroom, a large bathroom with tub and shower and another twin bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower.     Second Floor : Large reception room, double bedroom with en suite bathroom (shower), two twin bedrooms, one large bathroom with tub and shower, one double bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower.

Villa Padrone is a historic villa, situated close to Lucca. This lovely 18th century villa is set in 6 acres of estate grounds and surrounded by private olive groves and vineyards. It has been renovated and has many modern comforts but still retains many original features and antique furnishings. 
The villa is set in large, grounds (6 acres). the villa is surrounded by a 600 square metre garden with its own pergola for “al fresco dining” and a private pool (10 x 5 mts). There are beautiful views over the valley and towards Lucca, over olive groves and vineyards.
