Villa Castagno is located in a small, historic village on the top of a hill and offers a beautiful view of the surrounding valleys, the Tyrrhenian sea and the nearby islands of the Tuscan Arcipelago. This pretty villa, originally a hayloft, dates back to the 18th century and has been renovated using the traditional Tuscan materials throughout. The house can accommodate up to 10+2 people in 5 bedrooms with a sofa bed available in the lounge for extra guests.
Villa Castagno is a perfect base, for exploring Camaiore (10 mins) as well as the Tuscan coast with its chic beach resorts of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi(15kms). The historic walled city of Lucca is also within easy reach (18 kms).

Ground Floor:
The ground floor has an entrance hall, a well equipped marble top kitchen, a living room with small library and panoramic views, a dining room with open fireplace as well as a double bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower.

First Floor:
The first floor has a total of 4 bedrooms. 2 double bedrooms that have pretty four poster wrought iron beds overlook the pool and olive groves. One of these bedrooms has a private terrace There are also 2 twin bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with showers and an additional toilet. There are screens on all bedroom windows.

The villa is set in a large private garden (3,000 square metres) planted with olive trees, and many aromatic plants such as lavender, rosemary and roses. At the front of the house there is a patio completely equipped for outdoor dining and it has a barbecue. There is a private pool (10.5 x 4.5mts) located at a short distance from the villa.
