Villa Antica Villa Antica is a fabulous historic villa furnished with flair and style and full of character. On the ground floor the main entrance leads into an elegant reception room with antique rugs, a tapestry adorns the wall and a staircase leads up to the first floor. There are several rooms on the ground floor including a country style kitchen with open fireplace, traditional wood oven, large American fridge, cooker. The kitchen opens onto a large rear patio which is beautifully shaded by a 600 year old cedar wood tree. Adjacent to the kitchen is a dining room with a seating area with armchairs and a TV.Also on the ground floor is a lounge with open fireplace, a gun room, a hunting room with changing facilities for game hunting and 2 bathrooms with showers that service the ground floor.    
The villa has large grounds and has open views over beautiful countryside. It has a formal Italian garden of low boxed hedges to one side and closer to the villa is set out in lawn and has mature tress and shrub including magnolias and a 600 year old cedar wood tree. The gardens and beautifully laid out and well kept. The pool is in the form of an 8 and has a pretty little bridge across the centre. As mentioned above there is a large rear patio. There is even the original private family chapel at the front of the villa and accessed from the courtyard.

Villa Antica is a fabulous historic, aristocratic villa that dates back to the 15 century and commands panoramic views over the countryside. It is surrounded by and 250 hectares of private estate grounds. Step back into the past and experience the character of a home that once belonged to Florentine nobility. The house retains all of its original character and exudes elegance and style. It is furnished with antique pieces as well as tapestries and has fresco detailing and original wooden ceilings in several reception rooms. The villa is a perfect property for a large family group within easy reach of the beautiful, renaissance Florence (35km). 
Villa Antica is a spacious villa, which is perfect for a large family group. The villa is accessed by driving up an impressive cypress tree-lined driveway. The villa has three large floors as well as an adjacent building across the pretty courtyard where the billiard room, a lounge and card room are located. The housekeeper lives close by so can easily accommodate groups who would like a daily cook and or extra cleaning services. 
On the first floor there is a spacious central lounge with open fireplace and antique furnishings. Off the lounge are the first floor bedrooms. These includes a spacious master bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower. There is also a four poster bedroom with a spiral staircase leading to a twin bedroom and the bathroom with shower (low ceiling in bathroom).There are two twin bedrooms, one with en suite bathroom with shower and the other with a large marble bathroom with hydromassage bath and shower. There are a further two double bedrooms that share a bathroom with shower. 
On the third attic floor there is another very large reception room with antique table and chairs and stylish furnishings. The bedrooms on this floor include a large double with en suite bathroom with shower, two further double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms with showers and a twin bedroom also with en suite bathrooms with shower. There is also a small centrally located TV lounge on the attic floor.The attic floor can be closed off to accommodate smaller group of 14 – 16 guests.
