Villa Zafferano is a stylish, renovated farmhouse in Val d’Orcia. It is surrounded by 30 acres of private woodlands. The villa also has an orchard, veg patch and vineyards. Villa Zafferano sleeps 10 guests in 3 double and 2 twin bedrooms. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. The villa consists of a living room with fireplace, a dining room seating 10, a small but well equipped kitchen and a terrace and pergola with outdoor seating and dining area. Villa Zafferano has a private 12x6 pool, which can be heated on request.

Villa Zafferano is set in one of the most picturesque areas of Italy – the Val d’Orcia. The area has been the setting for a number of Oscar winning films – The English Patient and Gladiator to name a few. There is a private driveway leading to this stylish renovated stone farmhouse. The 2 storey villa has original terracotta floors and chestnut beams. It has a living room with fireplace, dining room and well equipped kitchen. There are 5 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Outdoors Villa Zafferano has a veg patch, orchard and is surrounded by forests. Val d’Orcia is set in a perfect position for sightseeing, towns such as Pienza, Montalcino and Montepulciano are all within a short drive. Other famous towns such as Siena, Cortona and Arezzo are also close by for day trips.

GROUND FLOOR

The livingroom has a large fireplace. Colourful sofas and chairs, sat TV, DVD player, hifi. There is a panoramic terrace, which has table and chairs seating 12 for outdoor dining. Next to the living room is the dining room with a large table for 10 and an exit onto the terrace. The small but well equipped kitchen has a 5 burner stove, fridge/freezer, microwave, slicer, coffee maker and a washing machine.

BEDROOMS

Villa Zafferano has 5 bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities. The blue bedroom, has twin beds, an en-suite bathroom, and a small terrace. The yellow bedroom is a double with a raised bed. The green bedroom is a double and has a ceiling fan. The red bedroom, is the master bedroom, it has a four poster bed, a large stone fireplace, small terrace, and en-suite bathroom. The 5th dark pink bedroom, has twin beds and an en-suite bathroom with shower.

OUTDOORS AND POOL

The outdoor dining terrace is covered with grape vines and is equipped with an external barbeque. A small slope with steps leads down to the pool. The pool area has sun loungers and an infinity pool with fantastic views. There is an external shower and the entire area is surrounded by forests. The house is equipped to seat guests staying in the house plus some occasional guests. Meals for up to 15/16 guests using the existing house equipment are possible.
