Back to Luxury Tuscan Villas

Villa Raffaello is an aristocratic Medici villa, which was commissioned by one of the Antinori family in the 15th century. It remained in the Antinori family until the beginning of the last century, when the family sold the property. In the 1980’s, a famous name in the Italian fashion industry bought the villa and made it their home. The owners’ affection for the Villa motivated them to carry out a restoration project, which was completed in 2003. During the course of the refurbishment, the villa was fitted with all the modern comforts, but still retains its beautiful historical features.

Villa Raffaello stands at the end of a beautiful cypress driveway. It is built around a courtyard and is surrounded by gardens and olive groves. Next to the villa is the garden, a sweeping lawn enclosed by high hedges and mature trees, embellished by antique rose bushes and pietra serena pedestals, home to potted lemon trees and a 300 year old Lebanese cedar.

The villa makes for a regal setting for wedding receptions, private functions, sumptuous parties and memorable corporate functions.
The entire ground level (400m²) and surrounding gardens (1,200m²) of the historic villa can cater for up to a thousand standing guests and four hundred seated guests.

It is in a great loctaion for exploring the magnificent Renassiance city of Florence (7km), steeped in history and full of art treasures as well as top designer boutiques of some of the most renowned fashion designers There are countless bars & restaurants as well as interesting street markets to explore and more.
