Villa Papera is a beautifully restored country farmhouse dating back to the 14th century.  The villa has a spacious living room with fireplace and a stylish dining room and well equipped kitchen. There is individually controlled air con throughout and WI FI internet both indoors and outdoors. All the bedrooms have all been individually decorated and furnished with great attention to detail. The whole villa has lime washed beams and either original terracotta floors or wide oak floorboards and soft neutral colours. All bathrooms feature Travertine marble and spacious showers. With  7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms it is ideal for a large family group.
Located within easy reach of San Casciano dei Bagni (spa town) at just 1.9km and also Cetona 15km, it is a great location for exploring the wonderful picture postcards views of southern Tuscany. Other parts of Tuscany are an easy day trip away. The renowned wine towns of Montepulciano 37km and Montalcino 56km are an easy drive and the charming town of Pienza, set in fabulous scenery and famous for its cheese is 41km.

GROUND FLOOR

There is an entrance that leads into the chic dining room with pretty open fireplace and well equipped kitchen. There is colour matched ceramics and the dinner plates, crockery and linen are in co-ordinating colours. Also on the ground floor, off the dining room, is 1 double bedroom with en suite bathroom with a spacious shower. There is a further double bedroom that shares a bathroom with a small twin bedroom (suitable for children in the group), There are French doors in the twin bedroom that lead into the garden with a little Wendy House located at a short distance for children to enjoy. Accessed from outside there are 2 more bedrooms that share a small lounge area. Both bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with showers and one is a chromotheray shower.

FIRST FLOOR

A large staircase from the hallway leads up to the first floor. There is a very spacious lounge with large sofas, 2 armchairs and a feature fireplace. There are multiple windows in this room making it light and airy. There is a terrace off the lounge with a table and chairs for 6. There are pretty views from this room towards the skyline of San Casciano dei Bagni and its 2 towers. Also on this floor are 2 double bedrooms. One has an en suite bathroom with shower the other has a pretty roll top bathtub.

ANNEXE

There is an annexe, which sits just a few yards from the main villa. It has a kitchen with pizza oven. The annexe can be used for group dinners, "pizza parties" and cookery lessons.

OUTDOORS

There is a large garden with an L-shaped pool (fenced and gated) with steps in and a sun terrace for soaking up the Tuscan sun. There is a covered pergola for shade at the poolside and there are several outdoor spaces for relaxing and dining outdoors around the villa including a terrace on the first floor, off the lounge and various shady pergolas around the garden.
