Villa Ortensia is a charming barn conversion close to the walled Tuscan city of Lucca. The villa sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms (1 double, 2 twins, one of which can be made a double) with ensuite bathrooms. The villa consists of a living/dining area, lounge, well equipped kitchen (5 burner stove, 2 ovens, 2 fridges, freezer, microwave, kettle and American coffee maker).  There is a master suite and 2 twin rooms. All have ensuite bathrooms. The villa is surrounded on 3 sides by a terrace, giving wonderful views towards Lucca, a bbq and an area for relaxing and outdoor dining. Just below the terrace is the private L-shaped pool, which has stunning views over the coutryside towards Lucca.

SLEEPS 6

GROUND FLOOR

The bright, pretty sitting/dining area has an old chestnut table with 6 chairs. Two comfortable sofas and 2 armchairs.  Their are large windows with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. The next room is a cosy sitting room with an open fireplace. It has sofas, armchairs and small coffee tables. There is a pretty, country style kitchen, which is fully equipped with Carrara marble worksurfaces, a 5 burner stove, 2 ovens, 2 fridges with freezers, microwave, kettle and an American coffee maker.

There is a pretty, twin bedroom on the ground floor. The bedheads are decorated  with red and pink floral fabric. There is a wardrobe and two little armchairs. The ensuite bathroom with shower is decorated in red-pink and can be accessed from the room or the corridor.

The ground floor also has a laundry room for guests' use.

FIRST FLOOR

Situated on the first floor, the master suite has a large double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers and two little armchairs. The ensuite bathroom is decorated with blue tiles, modern fittings and white towels.

 
Also situated on the first floor, there is a twin room with two single beds with antique Florentine fabric headboards (the singles can be made into a queen size bed) . The room has a buit in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom.

POOL AND GARDEN

The villa is situated in a country location, surrounded on three sides by a paved terrace - one side has great views over the countryside towards Lucca, another has a shady area for outdoor dining and lastly there is a BBQ area and space for drying washing. The L-shaped pool sits just below the villa, it has deck chairs and sun loungers and magnificent views towards Lucca.
