GROUP GUIDED WINE TASTING
Our Group Guided Wine Tastings take place on Wednesdays in the centre of Florence. Tastings, which are conducted in Italian and English are suitable for beginners or anyone who would like to learn a little about the local wines in a relaxed atmoshere. You can participate in one or more lessons, even design your own "wine tasting programme" .

The Red Wine Tasting session will introduce the main Tuscan red wines including D.O.C wines and Brunello and Nobile wines. The role of Cabernet and new trends in Tuscan winemaking will also be explained. You'll get the chance to taste a number of wines, which will be fully explained and suggestions given on what foods to pair with each wine. Various Italian appetizers will accompany the tasting.

The White Wine Tasting session will introduce the main Tuscan white wines. You'll get the chance to taste the traditional Tuscan grape variety Trebbiano and also Pomino a local wine produced in the mountans near Florence. You'll then explore the new trends in Chardonnay and Sauvignon. Tastings will be fully explained with food pairing suggestions and accompanied by a selection of local appetizers.

PRIVATE GUIDED WINE TASTING
Private Wine Tasting sessions are a fun way to learn about Tuscan Wines. They can be arranged with just two days notice and can take place either in Florence or we can even come to your villa (there is a travel charge depending on the location of your villa). The tasting sessions can be conducted in English and you can arrange as many sessions as you like, you could even design your own "Tuscan Wine tasting programme". Sessions can be based on Red, White or Rose wines. A Tuscan Wine Expert will talk about each wine including suggestions for wine/food pairings and you will have the opportunity to taste a number of top Tuscan wines. Tastings are accompanied by a selection of local appetizers.

SUPERTUSCAN TASTING
A new breed of innovative Tuscan Winemakers, feeling constrained by the rules and regulations imposed on them decided to break free. Their new creations just didn't fit into the old system but calling them "table wines" just didn't do them justice Their new "SuperTuscan" wines were world beating. Enjoy a fun tasting session trying some of the best "Supertuscans" such as Sassicaia, Ornellaia, Avvoltore etc A Tuscan wine expert will guide you, whilst you taste the wines, explaining how the wines were made, information about the winemaker and also suggesting wine/food pairings. Tastings are accompanied by local appetizers. Tastings can take place in Florence or at your villa

BRUNELLO TASTING
Brunello di Montalcino is one of the most famous Tuscan wines. A wine tasting session, which takes place in one of the most famous cellars in the middle of Brunello vineyards is something very special. In this unique session, our Tuscan Wine Experts in collaboration with a top Montalcino winery, have organised a vertical tasting of the best years of its production. Here is the day's programme -

- 9:00 Departure from your Florence hotel or other location
- 11:00 Guided tour of the winery in Montalcino
- 11:30 Tasting of the different vintages of Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino with the winery oenologist and our Tuscan Wine Expert
- 13:00 Lunch in a local Osteria in Montalcino
- 15:30 Guided tour of the village and departure
