This month's calendar features a colourful shot taken at Viareggio Carnival. Carnival takes place each year just before Easter. The Carnival parade, along the promenade of the seaside town of Viareggio is one of the best in Italy. Giant Papier Mache floats are built by teams of local craftsmen in purpose built hangers called the Citadel (you can visit the Citadel carnival museum to see how the floats are made).
