Bookings
Bookings are made through A&M Villas Ltd. trading as Rent a Villa in Tuscany at the price listed.

Booking and Payment
Standard Terms:
There is a 35% deposit payable on booking
The balance is payable 3 weeks before the itinerary start date/ date of lesson.
If a booking is made 3 weeks or less before, full payment is required on booking.

How to Book
Bookings are made directly with A&M Villas Ltd. trading as Rent a Villa in Tuscany. Once dates and availability have been confirmed, a 35% deposit payment is required to confirm your booking. If the deposit is not received within the 4 day period we cannot guarantee that the dates will still be available. Please keep us updated as to the type of payment being made, expected time of arrival and if there are any delays. You will be advised of the balance and due date. On receipt of the balance payment, not less than 3 weeks before your start date/ date of lesson/ tour, all details regarding your itinerary, contact details, addresses etc will be sent out. If the balance payment is not received on time, the booking will be put on hold, pending cancellation until the balance payment or a written cancellation is received from the client. If booking is made less than 3 weeks before arrival, full payment is required at the time of booking. Confirmation and all details will be sent to the person in the group making the booking. This person should be over 18 years of age and have the authority from all persons in the group to make the booking. The names of all people in the group should be listed on the booking form.

Payment by Credit/Debit Card
We have a secure card payment facility on the site. An administration fee is applicable on some cards types, when paying by this method. We also accept other forms of payment. Full details on request.

Data Protection
In order to complete your booking we require some personal details from you. We will only use this information in order to complete your booking and undertake to keep personal details confidential. For further information please see our Privacy Policy

Change to your Travel Plans
If your travel plans change en route and you will be late for any transfers that have been booked for you, please call one of the contacts you will be given on confirmation of your itinerary or contact us. If you are late for the transfer on your start date we will not able to guarantee that drivers will be able to wait for you. We will endeavour to make alternative arrangements for you, but should any extra expense be incurred these are payable by the customer. If you do not inform us or your contact of delays en route we cannot guarantee there will be someone to meet you on arrival.

Last Minute Cancellation During Your Trip
Once your itinerary has been booked and confirmed no individual item in it can then be changed / cancelled last minute once the tour is underway and no refunds will be due. No refunds will be due for any no shows for tours/ excursions booked as part of your tour which you decide not to take part in for any reason during your stay.

Hours of Service
Where applicable, hours of service will be listed eg. for bike guides, cookery lessons, city guides and any other service providers. The tour will include the hours of service as listed, If the times of service are exceeded then an extra charge may be applicable. Service providers are in their rights to end a service at the time allocated.

Menus
Menus for cookery lessons will be selected by the customer from a list we will send you prior to booking. Some dishes may include seasonal items and so not be available all year round. Menus for tours:
Lunches – these are intended as a light lunch and will include either a pasta or a meat course or a pizza with water and fruit. If you order other / additional dishes these will be charged extra by the restaurant.
Tuscan Dinner – this includes a full Tuscan menu with good local wine (approx. a quarter of a litre per person). If you order different dishes that have not been pre booked or extra wine these are payable direct to the restaurant.

Wine Tours, Bike Tours, Cookery Lessons
Cancellation by you:
Up to 30 days before date of tour / lesson – lose 50 euro administration fee
Between 30 days – 4 days before date of tour / lesson – lose 35% deposit
3 days or less before date of tour / lesson – lose 100%
We strongly recommend all customers to purchase trip cancellation / travel insurance.

Cancellation by you for cook
More than 30 days before start of service – lose 200 euros administration costs
30 days – 1 week before start date – lose 35% deposit
1 week or less before arrival – lose 100%
Please note: for any services that are booked and confirmed and cancelled off either within 1 week of the start date or during your stay - no refunds will be due.
We strongly recommend all customers to purchase trip cancellation / travel insurance.

Cancellation / Changes by us
If for any unforeseen reason, we have to change your booking, we will do our best to offer you alternative accommodation of the same standard and /or a similar excursion. If we have to cancel your booking/ part of your booking for reasons beyond our control, we will refund any monies due in full. No extra monies will be due. We do not accept liability for travel/flight expenses, or other expenses that may be incurred.
We strongly recommend all customers to purchase trip cancellation / travel insurance.

Late Arrival / Early Departure
No refunds will be due, if the customer is unable to arrive on the expected day due to travel problems. This also applies in the case of early departure.

Number of Guests
The tour is confirmed and booked for the number of guests listed on the booking form. No other people are permitted without prior notification. If the number of guests changes, please inform us. If there are friends or additional people at any of the places booked on your behalf, an extra charge may be applied and is payable at the time in cash. If extra guests that have joined the group for any reason, cannot be accommodated last minute, then it is within the right of the property / service provider to refuse the extra guests.

Swimming Pools
Outdoor swimming pools are generally in use between Easter – Mid October and are closed over Winter. Pools are not usually heated (unless otherwise stated) and opening / closure is dependent on each individual property and also on the weather. If a pool is important during your stay please check with us on booking. Opening / closure is not under our control as it is the decision of each property and we cannot be held responsible for their decision.

Internet
Where a WI FI connection is available guests' lap tops need to be configured correctly to enable them to connect abroad before departure. If they need technical assistance on arrival this service is not included in the rental and will be charged for. If guests require additional hardware to be able to connect due to the non compatibility of their own personal lap top, the property cannot be held liable for any costs incurred. All costs either for technical assistance or additional hardware required for personal computers are to be paid by the customer. Please note, A&M Villas Ltd. trading as Rent a Villa In Tuscany cannot be held responsible for any disruption to internet services that may occur locally for any reason.

Local Tourist Tax/ City Tax
Many town halls are introducing local tourist taxes. These taxes are paid locally on arrival and require to be paid in cash. The taxes are set and collected by the town hall. Properties /receptionists collect them on behalf of the town hall. We are updating our information as we receive notification of any new taxes. As these are new and are being introduced all the time we cannot be held responsible if we have not been informed of them or they have been introduced very recently and we have not had time to update our information to you. We will try our best at all times to inform you of any local changes before your trip but if are unable to do this for any reason, the taxes will still apply and still be due in cash direct to the property on arrival. Not all town halls are applying local tourist tax at this time. Many cities have already introduced city taxes and city entrance fees for large groups travelling in by bus. Please note that any local taxes applicable are completely out with our control or our property owners control and are set and collected by local governing bodies.

Accidents, Injury or Theft
A&M Villas Ltd. trading as Rent a villa in Tuscany cannot be held responsible for any accident or injury whilst on holiday. We strongly recommend all customers to take out adequate travel insurance to cover health care, cancellation, travel, accident and injury, etc. European residents are advised to obtain an E1.11 now available in card form. This entitles the holder to benefit from reciprocal health agreements, which exist between certain European countries. Please note, that this does not substitute travel insurance in any way and does not cover emergency repatriation if required. A&M Villas Ltd. trading as Rent a Villa in Tuscany cannot be held responsible for the theft of any personal belongings whilst on holiday. Guests are advised to close all doors and windows (even in isolated, country locations) when leaving you accommodation and make use of safes for valuables, where supplied.

Problems/Complaints
Our service providers will do their very best to resolve any problems that might crop up. But in the event of difficulty, A&M Villas Ltd. trading as Rent a Villa in Tuscany should be contacted immediately (within 24 hrs), so that we can resolve the situation for you as quickly as possible. Please bear in mind that if you do not communicate a problem to us immediately it makes it very difficult for us to help you. Problems or complaints received at the end of a tour/service will not be taken into consideration. Each complaint will be assessed individually.

Smoking Policy
All properties are strictly no smoking.
Guests are not allowed to smoke indoors.

Food Restrictions, Intolerances and Allergies
Any food restrictions, intolerances and/or allergies MUST be communicated well before your start date so we can inform any service providers. We will pass on any notes referring to these on your behalf. We cannot be held responsible for any mistakes made by service providers. We cannot be held responsible for any incidents where the client has failed to communicate any food restrictions, allergies or intolerances.

Changes to our Terms & Conditions
We reserve the right to update / change our Terms & Conditions at any time without prior warning. All changes will be updated to our online page and these terms and conditions will be considered valid at all times and override any previous conditions. Guests should refer to this page for any recent updates/ changes.

Disputes
By completing and submitting the booking form you agree to the above terms and conditions. Please note, that should a dispute be taken to court, Irish law will be used as the basis for deciding the dispute and the law courts in Dublin will have jurisdiction.
