Poggio Alto is centrally located between Florence, Siena and Arezzo and also within easy reach of Cortona. It is just a few minutes from a small local village and set in beautiful countryside.The accommodation is made up of 10 apartments, 3 detached villas and 4 rooms that sleep up to a total of 66 guests all located in pretty stone buildings around the large grounds There is a reception as well as a restaurant and bar with pretty terrace that has open views over the valley . The whole property has been restored with care and attention to detail. All apartments are very spacious and have satellite TV, heating, well equipped kitchens, all bedrooms have air conditioning and also have their own bathroom. The rooms available on a B&B basis (4 in total) all have their own bathrooms, satellite TV, air conditioning and a mini bar.

Poggio Alto is a country farm and the dream project of Paolo Rossi and Luigi Pelaggi. Paolo Rossi, a famous Italian footballer, scored the winning goal in the World Cup final in 1982. Both dreamed of living in the countryside and producing traditional Tuscan farm products and today they have realised their dream and created a wonderful country farm residence for holiday makers to enjoy. The 160 acre organic farm now produces it’s own wine and olive oil and provides spacious, well equipped holiday accommodation for the more discerning traveller.

The large pool with Jacuzzi corner is located on a terrace below the bar / restaurant. It is equipped with sun loungers. The property also has many other facilities including mountain bikes, a football pitch, tennis court, Turkish bath and well equipped gym. It is in a country location so great for walks and trekking too along the many country tracks.
