Podere la Villa is in a country location and yet minutes from the centre of San Casciano, which has several restaurants, bars, shops and a supermarket. It is in a renowned wine area with the Antinori winery just at the top of the lane which leads to the house. From San Casciano you are within easy reach of Florence to savour this wonderful city with its many museums and galleries or head south towards Siena and explore the lovely walled village of Monteriggioni or San Gimignano with its many towers that dominate the skyline.
Podere la Vila is a perfect property if you want a country location close to Florence but within easy reach of Siena (30 mins).

Podere la Villa

This is a spacious house, which is perfect for a family group. The owner has set prices for smaller groups too making it a perfect house for small groups as well.

The farmhouse has been recently restored using traditional materials and there are terracotta floors and beamed ceilings throughout. On the ground floor there is a spacious living room with open fireplace and satellite TV, a furnished entrance hall with seating and a large arched door onto the front patio.
Off the hall is a double bedroom with en suite shower room and a French door onto the garden. There is also a well-equipped kitchen on the ground floor that opens onto the garden and rear patio with outside seating. The kitchen has a hob, oven, dishwasher and fridge.

On the first floor there are two air conditioned twin bedrooms one with an en suite shower room and there is an additional shower room off the landing. There are pretty views from all of the windows over olive groves and vineyards.

Garden:
There is a small rear garden with a covered pation and outdoor furniture for dining "al fresco". There is also the use of the front patio and garden. Access to the pool is across a private lane through a little garden gate. The pool (12 x 6mts)is safe with small children as it is completely fenced off.
There are open views over vineyards and across rolling hills from the pool area. The pool is only occasionally shared by the owner.
