Podere Montegonzi

This is the third villa we've rented from this site and each villa has been of a very high standard supported by an excellent service.

In our group there were 6 adults and 3 children - and no one wanted to come home.

The pool was fabulous, set slightly apart from the villa with incredible views down the valley. The outdoor patio and BBQ area is spacious and ideal for al fresco evenings. The house is well appointed and comfortable with a large kitchen, tasteful rooms and spotless bathrooms.

The villa is surrounded by olive groves, fig and apple trees - we even had a humming bird that was permanently flitting amongst the pretty planters. There's also a table tennis table set up under a shady patio area for the more competitive.

The nearby town of Montegonzi is very traditional, unspoiled and typically Tuscan - check out an espresso outside the local store come cafe come restaurant - although you can stock up on supplies and local produce for your stay at the local COOP supermarket in Montevarchi.

In short we recommend this villa and site most highly.

Ciao bella!

Restaurant?
by: Doug

Geoff,
7 years ago my wife and I honeymooned at the PM, and loved it too. In Montegonzi, there was an amazing restaurant owned and run by a young couple, she was the chef. Do you recall seeing a restaurant near the top of the hill above the main road? Thanks.
Doug
