La Cappella is a fabulous apartment in a beautiful restored chapel.This lovely chapel is located close to Settignano just outside Florence and is literaly 10 mins from the city centre and yet in a country location. The chapel has been carefully restored to its former glory, whilst retaining many original features including the fresco detailing on the ceiling of the double bedroom, originally the nave. It has been furnished very elegantly with top class furnishings and is fabulous accommodation for two.
La Cappella is a perfect base for exploring the renaissance city of Florence and the surrounding area with its elegant Villas and gardens. It is also close to the motorway (10/15 mins)should you wish to visit other areas of Tuscany

La Cappella is in a lovely, peaceful location, but is within easy reach of both the local town of Settignano and central Florence.It is set in the large grounds of the main Villa and is off the drive up to this impressive historic Villa. The driveway is lined with tall cypress trees and as you drive up you catch sight of the main Villa in front of you.
From here you can explore Renaissance Florence with its wealth of renaissance art and culture within its many museums and galleries.

Visit some of the many impressive villas and gardens in the surrounding area ( such as Villa Gamberaia pictured right) or drive into Chianti with its tiny hilltop villages, fine wineries and beautiful scenery. If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing place to experience Florence or explore central Tuscany, this is an ideal base.

This lovely chapel has been lovingly restored and furnished with great attention to detail to create a wonderful apartment for 2.
The entrance is off the drive into an entrance and to the large double bedroom in the original nave of the chapel, with original frescoes.
It has a living room with dining area and kitchen corner to one side of the entrance and a bathroom to the other side.
The apartment has the use of a large garden to the side of the property
