Bed & Breakfast Hotel Grondaie has been refurbished to provide high quality holiday accommodation. It has several double rooms within what was originally the Villa, that are available on a Bed & Breakfast basis. All the rooms and apartments have the use of the large garden and pool as well as the many other facilities here.

Originally a Tuscan farm, the Villa and tiny hamlet arranged around a central courtyard and well have been carefully restored to provide very comfortable accommodation within easy reach of the very heart of Siena, yet set in a large landscaped garden with a lovely pool. It is located on a small hillside that looks over to the city centre skyline. It is close to a bus route for easy access to the city centre and near to the station should you be travelling by train. It is 2kms from the heart of the city centre and within easy reach of the Chianti and beautiful “Crete Senese” areas to the east and south of this wonderful city.
Siena is a marvellous city rich in history, with many interesting museums to visit as well as the beautiful Duomo with its incredible library of Medieval manuscripts. There are a labyrinth of streets and lanes to explore many leading into the main Piazza del Campo where the world famous “Palio” horserace is held twice a year on 2nd July and the 16th August. A bare back horse race between competing quarters of the city in a annual battle to defeat their opponents and reach the finish line astride the winning horse. The horse is so highly acclaimed that it actually has pride of place at the celebration dinner held in the winners honour!
All are furnished to a high standard and have en suite bathrooms with a view over the front garden. One has a balcony and another on the ground floor has exclusive use of the front garden with outside seating. There is satellite TV, phone, minibar, security safe, hairdrier and air conditioning.
Breakfast is served inside in the breakfast area close to reception or outside in the courtyard.
There are also several apartments of different sizes available on a daily or weekly basis (not including breakfast) for family groups or those wanting the convenience of an apartment for a longer stay.
