GROUND FLOOR
• Ground floor is at sea level
• Landing room with private deck for arrivals directly from the airport or train station by water taxi, suitable also for sun bathing, peaceful reading or romantic "al fresco" dinners
• Stunning views over Canale della Giudecca and Salute's dome
• The room sleeps a further guest (possibly two) in a French size bed, has its own bathroom (walk in shower), kitchenette and air conditioning
Points of Interest/Distances
• Giudecca island is part of Venice but separated from it by water (Giudecca channel). It is easily reachable by a frequent public “vaporetto” service, which runs day and night. Guidecca has the enormous advantage of being well protected from mass tourism. Nevertheless it boasts two of the most famous churches from Palladio (Redentore and Zitelle), three of the most renowned hotels in Venice (Cipriani, Bauer Palladio and Hilton Stucky) and two cult Venetian restaurants: Altanella (in Calle delle Erbe only a few metres from the apartment) and Harris Dolci
• Within a short walking distance you can find everything you’ll need for food shopping: a very well stocked supermarket (not easy to find in Venice), various grocers and a superb fish monger, the best in town after Rialto market
• By hopping on a “vaporetto” within minutes you can be at the station, accademia, Guggenheim Museum or Punta della Dogana (a new exhibition space just beyond the Canale della Giudecca), or the Biennale exhibition areas

• A water-taxi service is available at a very reasonable price by special agreement, for picking up guests at the airport or train station and for dropping them off at the private deck. The driver has the keys of the house. He is also available for day trips in the laguna, visits to Murano, Burano, Torcello or single trips to any part of Venice including train station and airport

• Arrival and departure dates are flexible. Minimum stay 4 nights.
